Flexible Ethernet networking
The CloudEngine S310-48T4S supports a wide array of Ethernet redundancy protocols, including STP, RSTP, MSTP, and Huawei’s own Smart Ethernet Protection (SEP). It also features Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS), compliant with ITU-T G.8032, offering sub-50ms failover capabilities. These technologies ensure high network availability and rapid recovery from faults.
Intelligent link backup
Smart Link technology allows the switch to connect to multiple upstream aggregation switches, supporting active/standby uplinks for enhanced access reliability. This eliminates single points of failure and strengthens network resilience.
